Why Guitar Scales Simplified?
I started strumming the guitar at the age of 12 when a dear friend taught me basics.
Post that I self learned - referred to printed books and charts.
After the advent of the internet, I went through several websites to learn guitar. In a few months, I cracked my own way and simplified the guitar scales, further.
Except that it was from Jan 2011 that I created my own charts n used as ref while soloing and improvising over backing tracks.
It all began in January 2011 that I created my own charts and used them as reference while soloing and improvising over backing tracks. While referring to charts of different scales while creating over my favourite songs, I noticed that there were similarities in any Major Scale in every key. It took me almost two months to sit down and analyse the difference between playing in one scale compared to the other. I then started writing my observations down and started making out my own charts.
This removed an enormous strain on me to use rote memory in remembering shapes on the fretboard for Major Scales. I found so many similarities that after making out my own charts and referring to them while playing I didn’t need the charts after a month. These reference charts provide just that kind of information.
In January 2019, I thought why not make these reference scales marketable with explanatory text which will go in a long way to facilitate the learning and make Guitar Scales easy for novices and amateurs.
